MEANING: well, let me explain few in English. ‘Leke Leke gime finger’ is from children’s folklore where you stretch out your fingers to egrets and chant ‘leke leke give me one finger’ hoping your finger nails will become as shiny/pointy as their beaks; (leke-leke is the Yoruba name for the great egret).
‘Omalicha’ is Igbo for beatiful lady; ‘afurumginanya’ is also Igbo for I love you, and ‘iworiwo’ is a popular Igbo exclamation of excitement. Finally, ‘odo’ and ‘banku’ are Ghana for love and corn-cassava-porridge respectively.
